"Rainbow Canker" is a collection of home recordings in a raw state. Some of the tracks are the first and only time I have ever played the songs. Most of them are a little more than that and have definite structure, but have a sort of "unfinished" sound. Demos I suppose you might call them, but they are a little more than that to me I guess. I may record some of them again for future collections, who knows. The song is much like we are.Ever shifting. Always changing. Constantly evolving. Three of the tracks are cover songs including a Nirvana track that was done with my friend Paul Demarte. The title of the album comes from the idea of something being both a little painful, but at the same time beautiful. That is sort of the vibe this collection of songs gives off. Not polished, but still kinda shiny. Ya know what I mean? I think that you do.
